Tacoma Housing Authority offices will reopen to the public on July 11.
We are pleased to announce that our offices will officially reopen to the public on Monday, July 11. Although we are beginning to move on from the strict restrictions that were commonplace through the pandemic, we will continue to monitor the situation and update our policies as needed to keep everyone safe and better serve you.
This page will be updated with our latest continuity of operations plan and coronavirus resources.
The plan and appendices reflect historical policies and do not reflect the most up-to-date guidelines at THA properties.
If you have a question about the Tacoma Housing Authority’s ongoing measures in response to the Coronavirus Pandemic, you may call or email your housing specialist.
Keeping You Housed
We are determined to keep you housed. We will continue to pay our share of your rent to your landlord. We know you may have trouble paying your share, especially if you have lost income. Here are some things that may help:
- We may be able to reduce your share of the rent. You can request a rent reduction online. If you need help doing this, call us.
- Ask your landlord to be flexible and understanding.
- Call 211 and ask for other types of assistance.
