College Housing Assistance Program Alignment Proposal
NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD & PUBLIC HEARING
At our August 26th meeting, The Tacoma Housing Authority’s Board of Commissioners will consider changes to the College Housing Assistance Program (CHAP).
Proposed Changes
CHAP uses two types of subsidies (tenant based subsidy and property based subsidy). The program requirements are different for each subsidy type. The changes being proposed are to apply the same requirements across the program. We worked with our college partners to create these proposed changes.
