In response to HUD’s intention to greatly weaken its rule compelling local governments to “affirmatively further fair housing,” as a condition of receiving federal money, THA, Seattle Housing Authority, and King County Housing Authority signed and addressed a joint letter to HUD Secretary Carson, asking him to reconsider this step.
