2015 Moving to Work (MTW) Plan
The Tacoma Housing Authority (THA) will open the public comment period for the proposed amendment to the 2015 Moving to Work (MTW) Plan and the associated changes to the Administrative and Admissions and Continued Occupancy Plans.
Residents, program participants, landlords, those on the waitlist and members of the public may submit comments on the proposed changes. The 30-day comment period begins on July 24, 2015 (8:00 a.m.) and ends August 25, 2015 (5:00 p.m.); all comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on August 25, 2015.
Proposed Changes
Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD)
THA proposes an amendment to its 2015 MTW Plan detailing the conversion of THA’s public housing units to project based voucher units. This conversion is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2015. The proposed RAD amendment also details impacts to resident rights, participation, waiting list and grievance procedures. The plan amendment is titled Appendix D: RAD Significant Amendment.

Attend a Public Hearing
THA will hold one public comment hearing to receive both oral and written comments on the proposed amendment. This hearing is not an appointment. It is not mandatory that you attend. The date, time, and location of the hearing are provided below:
